On November 14th I attended my third CHILL food and wine festival at the Merchandise Mart. This is truly the type of tasting event that gets better and better each year! I’m not sure if it’s the fact that Chicago’s restaurant scene is burgeoning with new and tasty arrivals or chefs are just stepping up their game, but the offerings this year were outstanding! One of Chicago’s biggest and most popular culinary events in the city, CHILL featured over 150 world-renowned wines paired with gourmet food from over 40 distinguished chefs hosted in LuxeHome’s 30 kitchen and bath boutiques. If HGTV and Food Network were to have a baby this event would be the child! Again this year, CHILL benefited three Chicago area organizations: Respiratory Health Association, Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestras and The Lynn Sage Foundation. Over the past six years, CHILL has raised over $500,000 for charity.
