If you’re a frequent reader of Dash of Adventure you may have noticed I’ve been MIA for a while. I’m glad to say that I have a great excuse for taking a bit of a break, on January 11th we welcomed a baby girl, Callie Rose, into the world!
After our worldwide tour in 2016 I made a conscious decision to try and support culinary events with foundations or charitable leanings and Chicago Gourmet benefits not just one, but five great organizations! In 2017 over $100,000 was raised for charitable funds benefiting the below partners.
I’ve been wanting to write this post for a while now and now that it’s summer weather (most days) in Chicago it’s finally the perfect time to share some of my favorite Chicago summer activities. Some suggestions are tried and true, but I’d like to think that at least a few are ideas that might not appear in a typical google search.
